Apples in Winter

This still life by Julie Books was her first attempt to create an oil painting when she was a high school student at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. It won a Gold Key (1st place) in the prestigious National Scholastic Art Competition and was displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
